About the Artist

Naing Tun Oo was born on 7 April 1984 in Yangon. He was particularly interested in painting from an early age. In 1996, he began to study painting with artist U Mya Han. In his childhood, he learned painting from his grandfather, artist Chit Swe. He is especially fond of portrait painting. In 2009, he graduated from Yangon Eastern University with a BA (Eco). He continued to self-study art philosophy by reading many books. When he met with artist myat kywat, he was more aware of the concepts of art. He found out more about conceptual art after he attended a workshop by artist Aye Ko. He currently continues to create contemporary art.
